At the time of her special day
Christine was 32 years old and
living in Corby. She was diagnosed
with lymphoma in childhood for
which she underwent extensive
chemotherapy. She is now being
treated for a brain tumour. Her
special day - a trip to London with
her parents - was taken during a
break in treatment.
SPECIAL DAYS
The BobWilson Soccer Cycle raised in excess of £300,000 for theWillow
Foundation. These funds have helped to provide hundreds of special days
for seriously ill 16 to 40 year olds and their loved ones - providing positive,
life-affrming moments for the whole family during the most diffcult of
circumstances. Here are just two of their stories:
